In this tutorial, Auntie Nona makes a riding crop from a single ti leaf. She also shares history on Queen Emma and how she came to make a ti-leaf riding crop. The footage in this tutorial was taken in 2001 in Kāneʻohe, Oʻahu, by Auntie’s hānai daughter, Maile Loo, as they spent an enjoyable morning together.
